Just be safe. Alcohol, college atmosphere, STDs...there's so many risks for our age group. Oh and by "doubling up" did you mean on condoms because actually that isn't safer, it causes more friction which could tear the material. So just stick with one and it's always a good idea to make sure you know the background of a partner. Ok, now I sound like a Sex Ed teacher. Just stay healthy.
