I forgot to mention this. A while back one of the fraternities at my school busted into the others' house (small house, only 4 people livin there), and beat the crap out of one of the guys because of a girlfriend situation. The guy that it happened to had to go to the hospital. Today I'm very good friends with him, but I'm also friends with members of the other fraternity. However, if that would've happened when I was around, friend or no friend, I wouldn't want to deal with the "bad" fraternity. They must not only pay the consequence of their actions legally, but messin with the Greek system. Everyone who has posted so far is right. "Guilt by association" is true, and what you described IS a gang, not a fraternity.
