I have an update on some location and history.
The Sigma chapter of K∆, at Gunston Hall, was actually located in Washington, D.C.
Gunston Hall in Fairfax, VA is just a historic house, not a school. But it was George Mason's house, whose great-grandson, Beverley Randolph Mason, founded the Gunston Hall School in Washington, D.C. for young ladies, that was named after the original Gunston Hall.
There's not much else about the school I can find, but I'm glad to have finally figured out where it was. This chapter closed when KD closed two-year school chapters to join NPC.
