Autism speaks struck me as sort of an odd choice for a national service partnerships because there are definitely those who loudly disagree with the group. While I know there are concerns with "vanilla", I do think that it makes it easier when a national philanthropy isn't one the mainstream media is willing to give time to those who oppose it.
