Oddly, the one thing that really annoyed me is that the producers couldn't even be assed to find a younger actress to play the mom during her collegiate years. So in the video of her mom singing it's clearly just her mom in a different outfit..
I realize that women deal with things differently, but I was kind of disappointed that her mom didn't slap the taste out of one of the other mothers' mouths.
