I am basing my advice on my school's process for NPHC and more specifically Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
I did not assume it was NPC, but you assumed that I did.
My advice was in line with Naraht in that she should contact the organization because it varies, how is this the worst possible advice?
