Along with the work of the Charles Drew Scholarship Commission, praise should go to the Technology Committee of the Fraternity who pulled off the first Virtual Grand Conclave, after the in-person meeting in Tampa was cancelled due to COVID-19. This was not a watered-down version of our national convention but the same agenda was carried out, with national elections. This meeting was headquartered at the James Elam Auditorium at the Omega World Center (IHQ) in Decatur, GA, with the traditional dais setup, etc. This could not have happened without the IT expertise and support of the Brothers of the committee and others who implemented this Herculean task of hosting 20+ hours of virtual meetings and activities, the Scholarship presentation being one such activity.
