I like this documentary, and the focus of his parents' nonprofit, because it gets into what signs to look for and when to call for help. Most documentaries just focus on the "whys" of hazing and simply "don't do it" as opposed to what to do if you find yourself in this situation.
The Burches were real and self-evaluating, even critical of their son's judgement at one point. I found their honesty refreshing. It has to be absolutely baffling to be a parent in this situation when you feel you've adequately and realistically addressed binge drinking with your child.
I give them all the credit in the world for what they're trying to do.
