Recruitment has started this morning at CU Boulder. A friend there shared that 1900 women registered. They now have 10 chapters. CU recruitment runs from today thru Wednesday (bid day). They are doing first date book in one day. To me this is mind blowing when you look at recruitments in other parts of the country where the first round is broken into two days. The houses are all around the Boulder campus so women must walk up and down the hills with approx 15 minutes between parties. No buses! My friend is watching this years recruitment wondering how it will turn out. School started last week AND the Rocky Mountain Showdown (CU v CSU) game was last night in Denver. Indiana University used to have open house round of 22 chapters in just two days in January with 15 minute breaks and the sorority houses are spread out on three streets and in a few other random locations. Busses only ran between the spread out locations where it would be impossible to walk in 15 minutes. The rest of the time, PNMs were outside. Those were two long days.
