I read on the AKA national site that if you attend a 4-year college/university that doesn't have a chapter, a nearby graduate chapter in your college community willing to sponsor you can recommend you to the Regional Director for General Membership in the Sorority. However, I've never seen or heard of anyone who's done this recently. Is it still true?
