I know that TKE's chapter house plans were a Holiday Inn hotel ski lodge from Vail, Colorado (of up the "higher ups" of Holiday Inn was a TKE alum from KU) ... Why do I know this?... my husband was a TKE at KU. Also - TKE, PKA & PKTheta didn't necessarily "lose" their houses... most sold their houses to apartment developers for mucho dinero. I believe that all are seeking or have located new housing...
It is amazing to see rockchalk tell what greek life is like today at KU. When I was at KU (I pledged KD in 1992) AZD was colonizing (sad to see they are gone now) and ACACIA lost their charter (their old house is now PKTau's house). In addition, AOTT lost their charter in (I believe) 1996 as did ZBT.
Yikes - all that has happened in KU's greek system since 1992!!! What a difference 10 years makes...
