Actually the sorority houses at Indiana University did not close because of low numbers...most were kicked off of campus because of either hazing or violating their national's alchohol rules.

I believe Tri-Sigs,Sigma Kappa and AOII were kicked off for hazing in the mid to early 90's. In fact, Tri-Sigs had just had a nice new house built for them on the extension...so I'm guessing they werent hurting for money or membership.

A good friend of mine in AXiD has told me several times how strict their nationals are. I imagine the sororities are much stricter with rules then fraternities.

And...seeing as how many GLO nationals are in Indianapolis and seeing how Indiana University is only an hour away, not many groups are able to get away with much.
