What about the following race-specific pagaents that are for caucaisians? Where is your "outcry" against them?
i.e The Little Miss Italy and the Miss Italia USA pagaent is held here in my area. Around St. Patrick's Day, there is a pageant for Irish women as well (The Miss Mayo pageant). Are these not pageants " for white girls" (to quote SigmaChiCard from a previous post)?
Almost every ethinicity has some type pageant for their particular nationality, not just minorities.
Why is it ok for those type of pageants to take place, but not for minority-specific pageants to take place?
