We had a somewhat similar PNM *mumble mumble* years ago. Her mother, aunts, grandmother, and great-grandmother were all ADPis. She didn't even want to go greek, and made it very clear. We asked our EO and were told in no uncertain terms that we could NOT cut her, and she ended up pledging. Worst.Pledge.Ever. She was initiated at Convention, then transferred to a school without ADPi, and was never heard from again.
The kicker? On her Linked In page, she lists Alpha Delta Pi!
The only other thing I have to add happened at more chapters than ours: Pref parties meant evening wear with lots and lots of hairspray used. Many a near disaster came from the combination of lit candles and so much hairspray!
