. Yes, I think that the asking everyone with a pulse back thing is what puts a sour taste in some women's mouths where greeks are concerned. The "prestige" sorority on my campus had no intention of asking me to pledge, so they didn't ask me back past first round. I respect them a lot more for doing that than if they would have made me think they wanted me. That happened to my best friend with another group and it totally turned her off as far as sororities were concernd.
