My son did an internship in DC three years ago and stayed on the George Washington campus. As i recall, the campus manages the rentals of all of the different housing options at the school including the Greek houses. He stayed in a two bedroom unit that had a small kitchen and sitting room. He was interning for a congressman - his roommate was working for the British embassy and the two other guys were interning at various agencies. I think that you can just go to the George Washington website and search for summer housing.
