In my opinion, drinking or displaying any other questionable/objectionable behavior while actively affiliating oneself with his/her organization is NOT acceptable. Thus, wearing one's pin, jacket, etc in a bar...(like I've seen others do) is just not cool.

On my campus, the members of my organization are well known, so I wouldn't have to be wearing para or anything that obvious for people to recognize me as a Delta. So.....I'm always on my p's and q's.

If you are representing your sorority or fraternity to the public, then you have a responsibility to do it in such a way that will not bring the organization disgrace. Being sloppy drunk, fighting (this happens too), or acting crass while wearing para, doing the call, symbol etc.... is not the way to do it.

If I saw a soror misrepresenting my sorority, I would feel compelled to suggest to her respectfully that she correct the situation. If she were falling down drunk, I would call her a cab and get her home as fast as possible.....

Much Love,
TRINITY

PS: If you MUST drink, for heavens sake, take off the para!!!
