Hi! Well I go to a Universiry of California and just rushed this Winter (we're on the quarter system). I had been wanting to rush for a while and due to my conflicting schedule I was only able to make it to 2 out of the 8 events the Delta Gamma's had. I was sure I wouldn't get a bid. But I did! And now, I'm pledging!
(Hence the name).
I say it was all by mere luck! A few girls who were there all 8 nights didn't get in. Here's what happened...I really wanted to rush this quarter but I knew I'd only be able to make it to 1 of the events...maybe 2. So I said I'd do it in the Spring...but the day of the 7th event a DG came up to me and asked me to go. So I went, then the only reason I went the 8th day was to receive my bid!!
I guess I had a really good experience compared to other girls.
The reason I chose Delta Gamma is because of their philanthropy, service works, and cause all those girls are so sweet and humble! Most down-to-earth sorority on campus!
