Leslie, I was just going to say the same thing about the hotel...I mean they are in a strange city and just taking off to heaven knows where. It's not like they are in Clarion (pop. 6000) and decided they don't like the Super 8, and go to the Days Inn (which is a parking lot away).

Plus from what I gathered, I think that the hotel they were staying in was charged to the sorority as a whole - so yeah, if they want to be prisses, they can go elsewhere, but they also need to pay for the rooms they thought they were too "good" to use - or Sigma will end up eating the $$$.

When formals were still wet, no one ever went anywhere else afterwards (except to their rooms, nudge nudge wink wink), but that's a different story. The thing is, they HAD a cash bar there - they had no reason to leave. Everyone knows the Westin isn't cheap - if they couldn't afford the "incidentals" and that was more important to them than being with their sisters, they should have just not bothered to attend.
