I saw Candyman when I was in fifth or sixth grade and it was the freakiest movie ever! My friends and I also were scared to go into the bathroom by ourselves so we all went together! Haha.
The Mothman Prophecies was also a pretty disturbing film that completely freaked me out. One of my sisters was so scared after seeing that film that she wanted me to hang out with her until she fell asleep that night we saw it.
Poltergiest (the one with Tom Skerrit and it took place in the hotel) scared the heck out of me when I was younger too. Oh who am I kidding, if I saw it today, I would probably still be too afraid to watch it.
