33, when Theta's charter at San Diego State was pulled, DG stepped in to lease the house. I believe DG was aware of Theta's intent to recolonize at State if the opportunity arose in the future; the Theta property was not for sale. I also believe that DG was actively seeking housing during the several years (five?) that they leased the Theta property. I'll do more research and update if I find different info. Or a DG alumna may have more information and will clarify.
Point: TPA will have time to search for housing. The University will also have time to work with the unhoused chapters on housing solutions. I suspect this has been ongoing, since housing seems to be a sticking point (also here at Arizona and more on that later! stay tuned). And maybe, just maybe, this will have a happy ending!
