At UMD, I think the first time any girl is allowed to be cut, is if she doesn't meet the GPA requirement of Panhel. Our Panhel GPA is a 2.25 to rush. Phi Mu has the highest GPA requirement on campus, with a 2.5 to stay in good standing. I've violated this a few too many times, and spent the first year or so on Academic probation. But without my sisters, I wouldn't have cared and prolly woulda dropped out of school. A lot of the GPA requirements vary within different GLOs, but I do know that Panhel GPA is very important.
