Being openly gay makes them bad? Why worry about the mentors that they see only x amount of times per month when there are openly gay stars and famous people (that serve as some of these kids' role models) that are featured on TV? They are more easily influenced by stars that don't know them than they are by John Gay that is trying to make a positive influence on their lives.
Do these folks think that gay/lesbian citizens go out recruiting people (i.e. the children they mentor)?
