I agree also with what everyone has said. My daughter goes to Ole Miss and she went thru COB and found her home. While she may never actually know what other houses may have offered her a bid going through formal recruitment she is very very happy with her new sisters and home!! Greek life at Ole Miss is very popular and you're so right last year I believe the number of girls going thru rush was > 1,500!!! I do highly suggest that you get your recs in as soon as possible keeping in mind what the others have said with regard to what to include for the writers, writing them.
