Hi, guys!

This is a question for any member of an NPHC organization. What advice do you have for those of us who have not been fortunate to know (on a personal) level members of NPCH sororities/fraternities? I know a handful of current members of my organization of choice, but I'm not close with them. Because of this, I don't want to approach them and seem like I'm harassing them to be in their organization. How should I go about showing interest, and once they know I'm interested, how do I go about getting recommendations?

Also, I know that members are not permitted to divulge information regarding financial facts and figures until the MIP begins, but what fees do I need to be prepared to pay? I'm not asking how much because I know it varies from chapter to chapter. Just which fees (i.e. initiation, new member, national dues, chapter dues, etc.)?
