I joined because I thought I would have a better opportunity to lead and help AST out. When i joined, AST had 15 girls, while the other sororities had 60 girls each. I liked the fact that AST was small, b/c I knew i would know everyone fairly well. The girls are awesome, but in honesty I joined because of the size and the opportunities I saw for myself to hold positions.
