This is 100% NOT TRUE.
And yes, the fact that you dropped out of a chapter after getting a bid that many women would have been ecstatic to have, for a REALLY ridiculous reason, absolutely hurt your rush in the fall. It may have negatively affected your friend's standing in her sorority as well.
(People...when I rail against that "next primary recruitment" business re open bids...this is exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about. )
We can't predict your chances at OSU. Keep an open mind to ALL the chapters.
