what is your school's minimum GPA required for a girl to be eligible for rush?
i think it's 2.0 in a lot of places. if a girl's average falls below that, she can't even attend rush parties.
all of the sororities at my college have a slightly higher than the minimum (2.0) "recommended" GPA for rushees, such as 2.25 or 2.33. i think once we have established that a rushee meets that guideline, GPA is no longer an issue. of course, we reward especially high GPA's, as we do exceptional involvement, but as long as she meets the minimum standard, we will keep or cut her based factors other than GPA, such as personality and compatability with the group. i think you'll be fine in rush.
another thing to worry about, though... once you're pledging, you'd better keep your GPA at or above a 2.5. i think i get in trouble with my house if it falls below that, as an active member. they are more forgiving during rush, since we realize that the freshmen are just getting adjusted.
