Mr. wvapo and I are living in Lexington Park, MD, about an hour and 20 min. from D.C.; plus we have some APO brothers living in Sterling, VA that we visit quite often.
If you want something quirky to do in DC right now, check out the
Party Animals (all the funky painted/decorated elephants and donkeys) around town... they're really cool, and they're only gonna be there until October, then the Arts Commission is going to auction them off.
