One of our big things is that the sorority dorm on campus (Roberta Hall) is haunted by Roberta. There was a gas explosion there sometime in the 50's and a girl named Roberta died during it or from complications after it. Don't know for sure. Actually, some people say that the dorm is haunted by the girls that lived in it that didn't have the dorm named after them.
Oh well, we'll see if I believe the story after living there next year. Can't really think of anything else off the top of my head. Maybe Tom could help if he reads this (by the way Tom was Roberta the all-girls dorm you scaled?)
About the Britney thing, from what I know she got her high school diploma through high school correspondence courses from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. A lot of famous people who don't attend normal high school use the UNL program. I'm not 100% for sure about this, but remember reading something about it in the Lincoln paper a year or two ago.
