These people do have a point, if you were admitted to the college or university, you probably have met the sorority's criteria for a decent GPA. Did you find out if you were accepted yet?

Judging from how my sorority works, we don't take into consideration any summer school classes because we only look at the fall and spring semester grades. Because we get a lot of freshmen in the fall, there is basically no way we can determine or prove their high school GPA, it's based on good faith.

During rush we ask rushees to fill out a Rush Info Card listing their GPA and any extracurricular activities and we do pay attention to their activities in high school. During rush you should talk to one of the sisters about it and determine whether or not rushing in the fall is right for you. Most NPCs rush during both semesters so at least you'll have that option.
