James,
the reason why i ended up with someone who was graduating college when i had just entered college (granted, we got together AFTER i had graduated, but he is still 4 1/2 years older than i) is this huge maturity/goal oriented behavior. As I have seen, after college, it sometimes takes guys a little longer to settle down, get a job, and start looking for a serious relationship--things most girls want most of the time. Granted, my fiance can still be totally disgusting and immature with his friends but I never had to deal with all the dating bullshit lots of girls have to put up with their college boyfriends.
but thats just my opinion...however here's a little fact: (think age group of 24-26) of my 10 closest girl friends 8 out of 10 are with older guys, either settling down, engaged or married. out of my 10 closest guy friends, 2 of them have serious girlfriends, 5 of them are still unemployed, none of them are engaged or married, 3 of them still live at home.
older guys just have a little more stability then younger ones when you get into the mid-20's age bracket, i think.
