Our choice for pins is gold or silver of the scrolled edge, and whether we want a guard (is that what they're called?) or not. I think it was mostly a choice to keep the costs for everyone down. I'm sure though if anyone really wanted a more expensive pin they could get one. However, if you go to NWMSU chances are you are probably not a rich person, and we're all pretty much poor college students and want to save money whenever possible. A large majority of us including myself pay for our sorority bills (and usually part to all of college expenses in general) ourselves. We think that dues of $400 per year are harsh
(although we don't have a house...we do have a floor in the sorority dorm tough). I've just been shocked to hear on these boards of people paying over $2000 per year in dues! I'm sure some of you girls jaws just dropped hearing only $400 per year in dues!
