Go Philly!
(Ok, I don't live in the city, but very nearby, so I usually just tell people I'm from there.
) Anyway, good things about Philadelphia:
*CHEESESTEAKS, mmmmm
*We're the birthplace of the nation! So many cool historical sites to see, such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Mall, Betsy Ross's house, etc.
*Central location that is pretty much equidistant to NYC and DC
*Drive an hour or so one way and you're in farm country, an hour or so the other way and you're at the beach, an hour or so a third way and you're in the mountains
*Great diversity
*We have 4 seasons, too, but we don't get buried by snow in the winter time
*Some really good colleges/universities, such as University of Pennsylvania, Drexel, Temple, Villanova, St Joe's, etc
*M. Night Shamaylan (sp?), Will Smith, Kevin Bacon, and Patti LaBelle are a few of the people from here
