Darryl Chill Mitchell is joining the cast of the TV Show Ed. Darryl is paralyzed from the waist down. He was injured in a motorcycle accident last fall. Darryl has a new movie coming out that he filmed before his accident the Disney movie The Country Bears.
Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 32nd birthday with her new love Actor Ben Affleck. Ben met her family at a party and he gave her a yellow and white diamond bracelet.
Prince's Ex-Wife, Mayte Garcia, has found love with Rocker Tommy Lee. I hear the two are engaged. Tommy used to married to Pamela Anderson. They are currently involved in a bitter custody dispute over their two children. Pamela claims Tommy gave her Hepatitis C and now she has to take a year off to recover.
Singer Eric Benet is sporting a new look. While in Rehab for sex addiction Eric cut off his locks. Eric is pulling out all the stops in an effort to save his marriage to Actress Halle Berry. There's talk that the two want to have a baby and they are currently undergoing couples counseling. Their sessions cost $4500 a session but they feel it's worth it to pay the cost if it going to save their marriage.
Eric has promised never to cheat on Halle again.
Diana Ross was locked out of a hotel in Las Vegas. Diana's credit cards wouldn't work when she tried to check in. While Diana was in rehab no one took care of her finances and her bills went unpaid. Diana is worth 77 million dollars but no one bothered to pay her bills while she was away. Last week was not a good one for Diana. She was also booted from Motown Records.
Angie Stone is going thru a war of words with her ex-boyfriend Singer Calvin Richardson. Angie dumped Calvin when she realized that he was using her to get a record deal. Angie was ready to sign him to her company but he went behind her back and signed with another label and he tried to take her music that she produced. Angie felt some kind of way for Calvin, they even did a duet on her Mahoghany Soul LP. After the breakup Angie went out of her way to distance herself from him but last year she came to the DAS studios and she told me how in love she was with him. She seemed very happy at the time but now there is a lot of bitterness between the two. Calvin is getting a bad rep in the business as a thief and he is blaming it on Angie saying she is defaming him. In a recent interview, Calvin described Angie as a fat, Insecure _itch. DAMN! She was good to him why did he have to go there. Angie is having a hard time with love right now. She is probably too giving. Angie used to be involved with Singer D'Angelo and they have a young son. That romance went sour too. Let's hope Angie finds love soon. She is a very talented and nice lady.
Producer Teddy Riley has filed for bankruptcy. Teddy is best known for his work with Guy, Blackstreet, Wrecks n Effect, Michael Jackson and Bobby Brown. Teddy owes the IRS over a million dollars and he's having problems with his real estate in Virginia. Teddy says he hasn't had a successful record or artists in a while.
