I come from a strict Sicilian family. My dad would have a heart attack if he knew I had 2 tattoos. They're so hard to hide from him. Now I want a piercing sooooo bad! I want my eye brow, but that is noticeable. So I've decided that I may get away with my tongue being pierced. But i'm afraid of my tongue swelling up. I already have a problem swallowing. Plus the web under my tongue comes up far so the piercing would have to be way up front.

So to those who have their tongue pierced...
1- did it hurt?
2- how big did it swell?
3- is it dangerous at all?

If I can't get my tongue pierced cuz of my web, I'm just gona go for my eye brow and tell my parents I'll take it out when school starts and buy a plug for family functions. They'll be pissed (especially my dad) but oh well. I'm 21... time to cut the umbilical cord.
