UCSD doesn't have a football team, and students only go to basketball games if their friends are on the team or in the band. Or if the assistant coach sleeps for two months on the roof.
That's right, the assistant coach slept in a tent on the roof of the athletic facility, RIMAC, until the attendance record was broken. We're talking less than 5000 people! It finally happened when for Senior Night they decided to have giveaways
and IFC/Panhellenic made it into a competition. But there was still barely more than 5000 in attendance. Quite sad really!
As far as attire goes. If you're there with your sorority/fraternity you'll be in letters. Usually the sweatshirt letters and a pair of jeans or black pants. But, anything goes!
I have a question for all you proper Southerners. One of the alumna in my chapter attended Louisana Tech. She said that while all the girls look so ladylike in their skirts and dresses they also have bottles of alcohol duct taped to their inner thigh! Is that just a Tech thing? Or is it pretty much universal?
