If it helps to ease your nerves (I always hear how brutal UA recruitment is), other than me and hubby, there were no other Greeks in the family (and my sorority doesn't have a chapter there so I couldn't write a rec) and she decided to go through at the last minute. And she was from out of state.
So, she basically went through with no connections and found a home.
