As you might have been able to tell.. I'm from Texas
Born and raised. Even though I've lived here all my life, I have been to other parts of this great country we belong to, and yet, I always find myself wanting to come back to the Lone Star State. We have anything and everything you could possibly ask for
mountains... hills... the BEACH!... snow... desert heat in south texas... palm trees... and all those other trees that i don't know the names of ...an extremely huge population of many diverse cultures.. theme parks... big music city of austin... of course the famous 6th street... countless universities... huge metro areas with super big companies, small rural towns with "mom and pop stores"... football... baseball... and basketball...miles and miles of an endless highway to just drive, sit back and enjoy the scenery... and incredible history (not that any other states don't have an awesome history, but heck, we even used to be our country!) maybe that's why we love it here so much.. we like to be "unique"
Although i can't speak for everyone, I like to think most of us have an overwhelming sense of pride in where we live.
