Amen, AXO Alum! I'd also like to add something else for the prospectives.
Your Rho Chi has had a lot of training but sometimes she may be caught off guard by a question that she hadn't anticipated. I'm remembering a couple of incidents...in the first one, a rushee asked what you did if for the second round of parties, you didn't getas many invitation as there were parties. The Rho Chi floundered and said that that would never happen, everyone ought to get at least 4. You guessed it, a lot in her group didn't, were devastated, and dropped out.
A couple of years after that, a Rho Chi was asked what you could do if everyone cut you after the first round. She said, "Don't worry, that would only happen to a real loser." Naturally, that very rushee was cut that night by all 9 groups.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that you need to not only familiarize yourself in depth with rules but maybe to visualize what you would do in certain situations and don't let anyone cut you down for your response (i.e., dropping out, suiciding)to those situations. And never let anyone hurt your sense of self-worth!
