Ireland Votes to Allow Same-sex Marriage

Ireland's voters have approved amending the country's constitution to allow marriage of same-sex couples. News reports say this is the first time a nation has taken this step via popular vote. Reports are that over 60% of the ballots were in favor of the change.

One wonders if members of the U.S. Supreme Court will possibly consider, this, at least in the back of their individual minds.
