On a lighter note there are pet therapists that claim to be able to work through the Cat's Kitten-Trauma and cure that neurosis so there is hope.
I am sure that working together we could find you an acredited Pet Therapist in your area . . .
I am very toungue-in-cheek right now! I am rolling laughing at the idea of a neurotic cat with an intimacy problem and an attitude.

My cat is kind of a "touch-me-not". She only likes to be touched in certain places and only when she approaches you. If you touch her any other time she will put a hole in your leg.
