So i was wondering that if i fix those things this time around, would i have better luck going through even though i am a sophomore vs a freshman?
Also should i go find recommendation letters? I wasn't really able to make friends with other girls in sororities due to a different activity that i was partaking in all year.
Thank you!

Wait... you are a sophomore and you don't know a single girl in any sorority because you have been so busy all year? I am afraid that you have a lot more to be concerned about than finding recommendations. As a sophomore, you should have made
many friends in all of the chapters in order to have a successful recruitment the 2nd time around.
Is this activity that kept you so busy your freshman year going to allow you the tremendous time commitment needed to join and participate in a sorority next year? That will be a huge concern.
