I actually prefer working for female bosses. They tend to be mentors for me, and I learn a lot about managing effectively in male-dominated forums. I've been able to model a lot of my actions and organizational skills from the women I've worked for.
I've worked for males as well, and while a few were great, the majority wanted to relegate female employees to an almost secretarial status. To assert yourself made you seem like a (well, you know).
