Alpha Phi house at Iowa State University

I saw the announcement on Facebook that Alpha Phi will have a chapter facility located at 307 Ash Ave in Ames. This is the former Phi Kappa Tau house (way back when I was in school eons ago) which had been converted and used as apartments for the last 15 years.

It's in a great location in Greek Land on one of the main streets, sandwiched between FarmHouse and Kappa Sigma. I'm sure they'll have to do some updating - switching from apartments to more of a family/chapter style house and general fixes from student use - but the fact that it was a former chapter facility should help. This also gives hope that Delta Gamma will be able to find a similar solution when they colonize; there are a few other former chapter facilities that have since been converted to apartments or other uses, but could be changed back.
