I live on a sorority hall. We have 3 rooms open. There is a chance they will put freshman up there. It will be ackward. But I know as long as I talk to them about non-greek stuff it'll be fine. Last year, we had one girl who was not in our sorority on our hall. We recruited her but she decided greek life wasn't for her. Everything worked out fine. I mean all we did was close our door during chapter and made sure not to talk about sorority business in the hall or the bathroom.
Don't feel ackward, I am sure this has happened before at your school. As long as you don't bring up sorority issues or greek life, you should be fine. I am sure you will meet other freshmen in your classes too. Just don't feel pressured to join the sorority b/c you are living with them. Go where you feel is right for you.
