Your GPA will definitely help keep chapters that would cut sophs with a 3.2-3.5. That said, it's really going to depend. Some chapters rarely ever take sophomores that they are not otherwise familiar with (I.e. are friends with members). Go into recruitment with a VERY open mind and be ok with accepting a bid to any chapter, regardless of tier.
ETA: I rushed as a sophomore in the stone ages (within the last 8 years)...don't take any of the cuts personally. I cried after getting my list after round 1 before I realized it's just how the numbers work.
