I have heard of freshman being placed on a sorority floor, joining another sorority, and then moving to their sorority floor.
Chances are, after rush is over, and say you join SSS, a freshman who joined AOII may want your room, and someone else may want HER room, and you may want the other person's room. See if the housing department allows for those types of room changes after rush. (Chances are if they have enough people wanting to switch that it makes the rooms work out, then they may do it.)
Another thing is that these sororities have probably been in this situation before and will know how to handle it.
