............................o.k. let me begin..1. I can understand the whole point about destroying a good idea, definitely understandable because it takes time and money to create such a product. 2. I am deeply offended by the comment that the colony is "Ghetto" and mostly "1st generation..etc". You obviously don't know all the members well enough to make that decision. How do I know so much....3. I joined that colony in fall of 2000..I loved the guys that founded that colony especially the older ones. I've been gone the past year because I transferred to our Gamma Xi chapter at The University of North Texas which is one of our most established and best chapters in the country. They love our colony and the heart we have for being such a young group trying to establish ourselves. I talked to the majority of our chapters in texas and they feel the same way. I personally am not a 1st Gen. College student and sure as hell am not "Ghetto." My cousin was also a Delta Sig and believe me I know how the Greek system works. Anyways I have an illness in my family so I felt it right for me to transfer back home because I am almost done with school and I don't mind coming back to SA. Yeah some of the guys are rough around the edges but it's not like any chapter doesn't. I am still pretty anxious to come back and show some leadership when I com back in Spring but until then I will help out as much as I can while being alumni. But really what DO I KNOW..I DON't KNOW S**T about greek life or should belong to a Greek organization because I'm "GHETTO". Sorry to keep dragging down your image of greeks....since I don't know how to act in college because I'm a "FIRST GENERATION COLLEGE STUDENT"...and since your on the subject of hazing and being sterotypical..I won't even mention the kind of trouble your chapter at UNT has had because you would be backtracking from the generalizations you made in your post. But I'll be the bigger man and not post their troubles. I've been viewing this site since fall of 2000 so I am aware of your comments. You should really watch what comments you post because you never know who's watching...the word"colony" goes along way when there's only one on campus. I suggest if you have any more comments incinuating or suggesting blame towards my fraternity pm me so we can discuss it.........greek to greek....
