Sorry if this is not PC, but from my experience, women tend to overcompensate due to their gender role. They act as if they have to abuse their power to show that they are equal to men. I can't stand it. Not ALL women mind you, because I am a woman and have been a boss.
Just the ones that always assume that people are underestimating them or not taking them seriously BECAUSE they are women.
